Moomba Waterfest

The Moomba festival, now called Moomba Waterfest, started in 1955 and is now one of the largest and longest running festivals in Australia.

The Moomba Waterfest runs over four days and with activities for everyone including:

• a carnival, with rides to test all comers, colour, music and sideshows situated in the Alexandra Gardens;
• the Moomba Masters International Water Ski Championships;
• music, dance and theatre;
• the Birdman competition; and,
• much, much more.
