What's On in Sydney

Melbourne International Motor Show

The Melbourne International Motor Show is the centre piece for the Australian automotive industry.

The first motor show was held in 1925 and is one of the longest running Motor Shows in the world. It is the longest running motor show in Australia and is Victoria's biggest indoor event.

Each year hundreds of thousands of visitors pass through the doors of the Melbourne Exhibition Centre over the 10 days of the event to see the latest and best and also future concepts of what both the international and local automotive industry have to offer.

The range has been so extensive that it has occupied the entire 30,000 square metre exhibition hall together with the 8,000 square metre glass-walled Concourse and various outdoor exhibit areas.

Under a Joint Venture currently in place, the Motor Show is shared in alternate years between Melbourne and Sydney, which commenced with Sydney in October 2010.
