Melbourne International Arts Festival

Melbourne International Arts Festival ranks is an international performing and visual arts cultural event.

Since 1986 the Festival has been bringing together performances of dance, theatre, music, visual arts and multimedia. The festival brings together performers and artists from both Australian and International companies and is stages in venues throughout Melbourne.

The 2007 Festival was attended by just on half a million people and included 593 performances that featured 1079 artists from 13 countries.
